Mike and Shirley at Flathead River

We have found that most of our classes have been customized training for organizations and government agencies. We welcome the opportunity to develop a curriculum that makes sense for you. Individual training is available upon request.

Classes are small, between 2 to 6. We are equipped with Windows computers. We offer a comfortable environment, low student-instructor ratio and highly individualized instruction. You're welcome to bring your laptop if you wish to edit using your own tools. We offer discounts for educators, students, non-profits, WEVA, and special group rates - please call.

The four-day class covers the entire CS5 with emphasis on Premiere and Photoshop. There will be some Encore for DVD creation, After Effects, Soundbooth, Bridge, and Adobe Media Encoder. Integration of Photoshop filters.

The two-day class focuses on the fundamentals of  Photoshop and Bridge to include media management, automation of tasks, filters, Adobe RAW, layers, and retouching.

Current Adobe class information is here.

Classes are held in our home in Kalispell. Whitefish, Montana, is 14 miles away and half way to Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. Blacktail Mountain Ski Area, Montana's newest ski area, is located near Lakeside, Montana, about 15 miles away. We have hotel information for Kalispell as well as dining information.

Kalispell is located close to Glacier National Park, the Crown of the Continent which celebrated it's centennial in 2010, and offers great outdoor adventures in either the summer with blue-ribbon fly fishing, mountain biking, or hiking, or in the winter with cross country skiing.

Comments from people who have taken the course

"Mike is an excellent instructor! I learned Premiere 6 - but I also learned a lot about DV and how to successfully put together a video editing PC. Mike's suggestions about motherboards, network, editing and sound cards, and disk drives will more than save me enough money to pay for the class.

Mike's videography and business experience is helping me determine how and when I might get into this business."

I found your wealth of knowledge in using this program as well as your creative thinking in the filming and editing process has wetted my appetite all the more for video making.

I definitely will attend your classes in the future and would recommend them to anyone no matter their level of expertise.
